보스포루스 해협과 다르다넬스 해협은 흑해와 지중해를 잇습니다. 2025년 상반기 다르다넬스 해협을 하루 370만 배럴이 지났습니다. 보스포루스 해협은 길이 17해리이며 가장 좁은 곳은 폭이 0.5마일도 되지 않습니다. 길이 200m 이상의 유조선은 주간에만 통과할 수 있고 도선사와 호위 예인선 이용이 강력히 권고되며, 조류가 강하면 유조선 통항이 금지됩니다.
